Hongpan Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, Wulanchabu City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Chahar Right Wing Middle Banner, bordering Xile Township and wulanhadasumu in the East, kebuer town in the south, tieshagai town in the West and Wusutu town in the north, with an administrative area of 499.08 square kilometers.
In 1930, it belonged to Sandaogou Township, the first district of Taolin county. In May 1984, hongpan commune was transformed into a township. By the end of 2018, 20365 households in the population of Hong pan Township registered residence. As of June 2020, hongpan village has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages.
At the end of 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in hongpan township was 2750 yuan. In 2018, hongpan township has 6 industrial enterprises and 3 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1930, it belonged to Sandaogou Township, the first district of Taolin county.
In 1953, it belonged to the Second District of Taolin county.
In March 1954, it was put under the Chahar right wing central banner.
In September 1958, it belonged to Dongfanghong commune.
In May 1962, chenghongpan commune was established.
In May 1984, hongpan commune was transformed into a township.
In December 2005, 11 villagers in Sandaogou Township and Hailiutu village in Yuanshanzi Township were merged into hongpan township.

History and culture
Hongpan township was named after the Township People's government's residence in hongpan village.
