Xiaolongkan street, belonging to Shapingba District of Chongqing, is located in the southeast of Shapingba District. It is adjacent to Tuwan street in the East, tianxingqiao street in the south, Yubei road street in the West and Tuwan street in the north, with a total area of 1.0 square kilometers.
In August 1939, shaci District temporary sub district office was established in Xiaolongkan sub district; in 1978, Dongfanghong sub district was renamed Xiaolongkan sub district. In 2011, the total population of Xiaolongkan street was 34971. As of June 2020, Xiaolongkan street has four communities under its jurisdiction, and its sub district office is located at No. 2, Xiaolongkan new street.

History of construction
In August 1939, shaci District temporary sub district office was established in Chongqing municipal government. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it was divided into the fourteenth District of Chongqing and built Xiaolongkan town.
In 1951, Xiaolongkan set up a civil affairs office.
In May 1953, Xiaolongkan street was established.
On March 27, 1960, Xiaolongkan City commune was established; in April of the same year, hongcaofeng area was transferred to Xiaolongkan commune.
In 1961, the hongcaofeng area was designated.
In 1962, Xiaolongkan street was rebuilt.
In 1968, Xiaolongkan street was renamed Dongfanghong street.
In 1978, Dongfanghong street was renamed Xiaolongkan street.
