Anbu Town, belonging to Chao'an District, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, is located in the Chaoshan Plain in the east of Guangdong Province, at the junction of Shantou, Jieyang and Chaozhou, with convenient water and land transportation. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Chao'an district. Anbu town has Anbu temple, dolomite, Longkeng mountain, Meilin lake and other places of interest. In 2004, it became one of the top 100 towns of township enterprises in Guangdong Province.
In 2018, the GDP of the whole town was 9.414 billion yuan. In 2019, the total industrial output value of the town will reach 10.887 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 4.3%, ranking first in Chaoan district.

Historical evolution
In the Yuanfeng period of the Northern Song Dynasty (the first year of Yuanfeng was 1078), the territory of Anbu had been set up as longxidu, belonging to Yande township of Haiyang county. in 1914, Haiyang county was renamed Chaoan County, and its capital was changed to district. At the beginning of the Republic of China, it was divided into neilongxi district and wailongxi district. In 1930, it was autonomous in different districts and renamed as the eighth district. In 1939, it was also renamed as Longxi district. At the same time, Xizhong town was renamed Anbu town. In March 1950, Longxi district was renamed the eighth District of Chaoan County. In May 1955, the eighth district was renamed Anbu district. In September 1958, it was renamed people's commune. In July 1983, Chaoan County was incorporated into Chaozhou City, and Anbu commune was directly under Chaozhou City. In December 1983, the people's commune was withdrawn and Anbu district and Anbu town were established. In April 1987, it was withdrawn from the district and called Anbu town. In February 1992, the organizational system of Chaoan County was restored, and Anbu town belongs to it. The county seat is located in Fengxi town. April 23, 1992 in Fengxi town listed office. On September 21 of the same year, with the approval of the Ministry of civil affairs of the State Council, the county was relocated to Anbu town. in 2013, Chaoan County was divided into districts, and Anbu town was the urban area of Chaoan.

Anbu town is located in the south of Chao'an District, in the middle of Chaoshan Plain, 23 ° 25 ′ 15 ″ to 28 ′ 40 ″ north latitude, 116 ° 37 ′ 30 ″ to 42 ′ 15 ″ east longitude, and the Tropic of cancer passes through the south. Geology and geomorphology
97% of Anbu town is a low and flat alluvial plain. The plain is located in the middle and lower part of Hanjiang Delta, which is the transition zone between the delta low plain and the coastal Shalong accumulation plain. According to relevant data, the town was once in the Bay, and the sea immersion was formed in the late glacial period of the earth 11000 years ago, and Sangpu mountain became an island in the sea. Since then, the sea bottom began to deposit and gradually formed into shallow sea. A thousand years ago, the coastline had fallen to the south of the town. There are hills in Anbu Town, including zhuanglongshan, longkengshan, Hengshan, feifengshan, Hushan, shijingtoushan, etc. the surface of the hills is mostly granite.

Because Anbu town belongs to the impact plain, many water areas are left behind by the traces of big and small seas. After artificial transformation, a crisscross water network of lakes, ports and river branches is formed in the town, and the water sources are mainly from Sangpu spring and Hanjiang River. There are mainly Meilin lake, anjianhouxi, zhutongxi, zhuangbaolongxinxi, Anjiang, Doumen River, tingxiaqianxi, Xipu inner harbor, qirengang, dayuwei harbor, houlongchi and so on.

Molybdenum deposits are distributed in the area of xiaolongkengshan and Hushan, and most of them are distributed in the side of pits and ditches with springs. Crystal stones are mainly distributed in the area of xiaolongkeng mountain. In 1958, a crystal cave was found in xiaolongkeng mountain. The cave is about 4 meters deep from the ground. About 100 Jin of crystal stones were collected, which are mostly brown and white.
Natural gas resources
There is a 3 km long and 0.5 km wide natural gas emission belt on the edge of the southwest mountain area, that is, from the Zhugou of Zhutong River, across Zhutong River, to the west of the disc, through longqiuyang and shijiutou to the foot of Hushan mountain. The bubble group is about 1-2m in diameter. Where there are bubbles in the field, the soil is soft and knee deep. It is also known as "Longqiu Qi" because its Qi emerges especially in Longqiu Yangtian.
