Bainaobao town
Bainaobao Town, belonging to Linhe District of Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Linhe District, adjacent to Langshan town in the East, Chengguan town in the south, ganzhaomiao town in the West and Tuanjie town of Hangjinhou banner in the north. It covers an area of 296.49 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Bai Bao Bao registered residence was 36486.
In 1962, the bainaobao commune was set up by the former Langshan commune. In April 2001, it merged with the former Jianshe Township into bainaobao town. In February 2006, Mudu township of Danda was merged into bainaobao town. As of June 2020, bainaobao town has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Tuanjie village.
In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises and 122 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in bainaobao town.
Historical evolution
In 1962, the bainaobao commune was set up by the former Langshan commune.

Bainaobao town belongs to temperate continental monsoon climate, which is characterized by obvious monsoon, four distinct seasons, heavy sandstorm and less rain in spring, hot and rainy in summer, cool and dry in autumn, cold and less snow in winter. The annual average temperature is 8.1 ℃, the average temperature in January is - 8.9 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 35.5 ℃; the average temperature in July is 25.6 ℃, and the extreme maximum temperature is 37.5 ℃. The annual average sunshine hours are 1315 hours. The annual average rainfall is 150 mm, the extreme annual maximum rainfall is 250 mm, and the extreme annual minimum rainfall is 75 mm. Rainfall is mainly concentrated in July to August every year.

At the end of 2011, the total population of bainaobao town was 39368, and there were 17537 floating population. Among the total population, 20492 were male, accounting for 52%; 18876 were female, accounting for 48%; 3995 were under 14 years old, accounting for 10%; 30300 were 15-64 years old, accounting for 77%; 5073 were over 65 years old, accounting for 13%. In the total population, 38740 people (98%) are Han people, and 628 people (2%) are Mongolian, Hui, Tibetan and Nan ethnic minorities. The birth rate is 6 ‰, the death rate is 7.6 ‰, and the natural growth rate is - 1.6 ‰.

In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen in bainaobao town was 10500 yuan. Grain crops are mainly wheat and corn, producing 109000 tons of grain, including 21786 tons of wheat, 86748 tons of corn and 504 tons of potato. The main economic crops are sunflower, tomato, green pepper, etc., sunflower planting area of 69000 mu, output of 21207 tons; tomato planting area of 12000 mu, output of 64972 tons; green pepper planting area of 30000 mu, output of 95683 tons; melon seed planting area of 14000 mu, output of 2228 tons. Animal husbandry focuses on raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry, with 28000 pigs and 12000 at the end of the year; 480000 sheep and 298000 at the end of the year; 68000 cattle and 3600 at the end of the year; and 160000 poultry. The fishery is mainly freshwater aquaculture, and the water area that can be used for aquaculture is 15 square kilometers. The fish pond has an area of 300 hectares and an output of 2.45 million tons.
