Zhongjian Miao and Yi nationality township, belonging to Qianxi County, Bijie City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northwest of Qianxi County, bordering Jinsha County in the East and North, Huaxi Yi and Miao nationality township in the southeast, Zhongping town in the South and Chongxin town in the west, with an administrative area of 61.88 square kilometers.
In the late Ming Dynasty, there was Zhongguo river farm; in July 1991, it was rebuilt as a Miao and Yi township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Miao and Yi ethnic groups was 12321. As of June 2020, CSCEC Miao Yi township has jurisdiction over one community and five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in zhongguohe community.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the second class of xichengli in Qianxi Prefecture.
