Fengle town
Fengle town, subordinate to Zhaozhou County, Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province, is located 12.5km northeast of Zhaozhou county. It borders Erjing town and Chaoyang Township in the East, Tuogu Township in the south, Zhaozhou town and shuangfa Township in the west, and Yongsheng Township in the north. The total area is 137 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 28942 (2018).
In the late Qing Dynasty, fengle town was a small market town. In December 1951, fengle town was established, belonging to fengle district. In January 1993, Xiaochengzi township was incorporated into the city. As of October 2019, fengle town has jurisdiction over seven village committees: fengle, life, happiness, Xing'an, Ping'an, Fengqiang and improvement.

Name and origin
Fengle town, formerly known as "Xiaochengzi", was named after an ancient city site when it was built. Zhaozhou melon seeds
Zhaozhou big melon seeds are full in grain, without shriveled shell and wormhole. The seed coat is black and yellowish brown. The seed is long and cone-shaped, with a wide end and a narrow end.
