Hongguang township is located 9 kilometers north of the county, adjacent to lahagang in the East and national highway 202 running through the township, covering an area of 114000 mu. It has 6 administrative villages, 40 natural villages and 68 villager groups with a total population of 23322. Administrative evolution
Hongguang Township, in Qing Dynasty, belongs to the red flag inlaid in Hulan city.
