Lanjia town
Lanjia Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hongwei District, Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Hongwei District, connecting Shoushan town of Liaoyang County in the south, dongningwei township of Taizihe District in the west, and Shuguang town in the northeast, with an administrative area of 41.77 square kilometers.
In the early days of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liaoyang County; in 1983, it was changed to Lanjia town; in 1994, Lanjia town was removed from the township to build a town; in 2010, Lanjia town was divided into Hongwei District as a whole. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Lanjia town was 17900. As of June 2020, Lanjia town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 8 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Lanjia town was 9.4 million yuan, an increase of 1.18% over the previous year. Among them, local fiscal revenue was 6.73 million yuan. In 2018, Lanjia town had 52 industrial enterprises and 30 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

The southern part of Lanjia town is mountainous and hilly, which belongs to the hilly edge of southern Liaoning. Mountains and hills account for about 80% of the total area, and plains account for about 20%. The terrain inclines from south to north to the Xinkai River on the northern edge of Bajia village, with an altitude of 29 meters.

There are Majia River and Xinkai River in Lanjia town. Majia river is located in the south of the town with a length of 13 km and belongs to the upper reaches of Nansha River. Xinkai River is located in the north of the town with a length of 11 km and flows into Taizi River. Both rivers are small tributaries and sometimes dry up in dry years. The groundwater depth in plain area is generally below 60 meters.
