Coastal street is located in the coastal new area (Yingkou Coastal Industrial Base), and Yingkou Lanqi airport is located in the jurisdiction. It is close to Harbin Dalian high speed railway passenger dedicated line and Shenhai Expressway (G15), and national highway G305 and g228 pass through the area. Yingkou Airport Economic Zone and airport logistics park are located in the east of national highway 305, and Yingkou Coastal Industrial Base phase II project is located in the west of national highway 305. With the completion of civil engineering construction and the entry of projects, coastal streets have leaped from mariculture as a traditional economy to an important equipment manufacturing base in Yingkou City. It is not only a major breakthrough in economic development, but also enlarges the urban skeleton of Yingkou City, which is the South Gate of Yingkou City.

It is adjacent to salt beach in the East, Dahan River in the south, Gaizhou city in the west, Liaodong Bay in the West and dashuitang village in the West. It has a total area of 9.76 square kilometers and a coastline of 23.3 kilometers.

Historical evolution
In 1908, there were 13 natural villages in GAIPING County, including Erdaogou, xiaoerdaogou, Sandaogou, Sidaogou, tiejiangtang, huangqichang, tangwa, Tuchengzi, yonganbao, qianlanqichang, houlanqichang, hongqichang and changyitun. In 1909, each village was under the jurisdiction of GAIPING county and Yingkou Zhili Hall (changed to Yingkou County in 1913). Erdaogou, xiaoerdaogou, Sandaogou, Sidaogou, yonganbao, tiejiangtang, huangqichang, tangwa and Tuchengzi were under the jurisdiction of Yingkou Zhili hall. Qianlanqichang, houlanqichang, hongqichang and changyitun were under the jurisdiction of GAIPING County. In July 1935, the village was established. The second one is under the jurisdiction of tujiangwa banner (including 5 villages in tunyi banner and 5 villages in Lantang county), and the first one is under the jurisdiction of Tiecheng banner (including 5 villages in tun'an banner and 4 villages in tieyinggou Village). In 1938, due to the change of Yingkou County into Yingkou City, there were 3 natural villages under the jurisdiction of Tongzhi District of Yingkou City: Sandaogou (including Sidaogou and Wangpu); 11 natural villages under the jurisdiction of GAIPING County, including houlan Qichang (including Qianlan Qichang), Hongqi Chang and Changyi Tun under the jurisdiction of Taipingshan village; Tuchengzi, tiejiangtang and Huangqi Chang (including Tangtang) under the jurisdiction of jiangjiafang village (including xiaoerdaogou and yonganpu). In 1948, Yingkou was liberated. The 11 natural villages of Tuchengzi, Erdaogou (including xiaoerdaogou and yonganpu), houlanqichang (including qianlanqichang), hongqichang, tiejiangtang, changyitun and huangqichang (including tangwa) are under the jurisdiction of jiangjiafang District, Yingkou county. In April 1949, jiangjiafang district was abolished and Yingkou Yanchang district was established. In August of the same year, Yanchang district was abolished, and the villages under its jurisdiction were assigned to Liushu District of Yingkou county. In 1956, Hongqi township was established, which belongs to Liushu district. It has 10 natural villages, including tiejiangtang, Erdaogou (including xiaoerdaogou and yonganpu), Tuchengzi, huangqichang (including tangwa), qianlanqichang, houlanqichang and hongqichang. Changyi village is under the jurisdiction of Taipingshan Township, Liushu District, Yingkou county. Sandaogou Village (including Sidaogou and Wangpu) is under the jurisdiction of Lunan Township, the Fifth District of Yingkou City. In July 1957, it was assigned to the Fifth District of Yingkou City, and in September of the same year, it was assigned to the suburbs of Yingkou City. In 1958, due to the expansion of saltworks and land requisition by the state, some villagers moved: tiejiangtang village moved to cuijiaxifang village, Lunan township; Tuchengzi village moved to Erdaogou village, which is still an independent village; qianlanqi village moved to houlanqi village, which is a village; another part moved to qianshiqiaozi village, Laobian township; huangqichang village moved to tangwa; changyitun village moved to qianshiqiaozi village and Sanjia village, Laobian township Zicun. In September of the same year, Yingjiao commune was established, and coastal sub district office was the red flag production brigade. At the end of the year, four administrative villages under its jurisdiction, namely Erdaogou (including xiaoerdaogou and yonganpu), Tuchengzi, lanqichang and huangqichang, were assigned to Yingkou salt farm commune. Sandaogou Village (including Sidaogou village and Wangpu Village) is under the jurisdiction of dashuitang production brigade of Yingkou cotton mill commune. In August 1959, Sandaogou village returned to Yingjiao commune Road South management area. In August 1961, Hongqi commune was set up under the jurisdiction of Zhanqian District of Yingkou City, which governs Erdaogou (including xiaoerdaogou Township and yonganpu), Tuchengzi, lanqichang, huangqichang (including tangwa) and other natural villages. In the spring of 1963, Hongqi commune was put under the jurisdiction of Yingkou suburb. In 1964, Sandaogou village was incorporated into Hongqi commune. He changed his name to Erdaogou commune in October 1981 and Erdaogou Township in 1983. In 1985, Erdaogou Township governed Erdaogou (including xiaoerdaogou and yonganpu), Sandaogou (including Sidaogou and Wangpu), Tuchengzi, huangqichang and lanqichang (including 4 natural villages). In 1996, Erdao Township, with a total area of 16 square kilometers and a population of 7000, governed five administrative villages, namely Lanqi, Huangqi, Tuchengzi, Erdaogou and Sandaogou. In 1998, the people's Government of mangkou city agreed to change Erdao Township into Erdao town. the total population of the fifth census in 2010 was 8058. in 2009, the people's Government of shanghaikou city agreed to abolish Erdao town in the old border region and change it into coastal sub district office in the old border region. in 2012, the administrative division of Yingkou City was adjusted, and the renovation system of coastal streets in the old border area was divided into the western urban area, which is now managed by Yingkou Coastal New Area.
