Dehenglong Township
Dehenglong Township, Hualong Hui Autonomous County, Qinghai Province, is located in the south of Hualong Hui Autonomous County, 39 kilometers away from the county seat. The population is 7215 (2017), mainly Hui nationality, with an area of 247.47 square kilometers. It has 22 village committees, namely, dehenglong I, dehenglong II, Naga, zhihuju, cuoza, huangwuju, LACUN, Dongjia, Ruoso, wajia, Wasi, Jiajia, xihoujiawuju, shinaihai, Yaqu, yaqutan, kashdai, ancuo, wajiatan, liecun, Tuanjie I and Tuanjie II. In 1950, dehenglong township was established along the old system. In 1958, dehenglong commune was established by merging with shalianbao township. In 1984, dehenglong township was established.

Historical evolution
In the first year of Xiankang (335), the Yellow River City was built in qunke town. In the junction of Minhe county and Hualong County, Huanghe county was set up to govern the whole territory of Hualong and some areas on the South Bank of the Yellow River. In the Northern Wei Dynasty, Shicheng County was set up in qunke town to govern the western part of Hualong County, and it was established in the east of Hualong County (now gandu town of Hualong county) was changed from Shicheng County to Hualong County in the Western Wei Dynasty, which was subordinate to Huanghe county. In Sui, Tang, song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was renamed Li. In 1929, when Qinghai Province was established, it was renamed Bayan County, which was under the jurisdiction of Qinghai Province. In 1931, it was changed to Hualong county. Hualong Hui Autonomous Region was established in 1953, renamed as Autonomous County in 1955, and transferred to Haidong area in 1978. On September 4, 1949, after the liberation of Hualong, the people's Government of Hualong county was formally established. The county is divided into four districts, with jurisdiction over one city, 25 townships, 48 administrative villages and 217 natural villages. The first district governs Bayan City, Jiahe Township, Lagan Township, Jinjiazhuang Township, xiejiatan Township, chazhu Township, keyangou Township and tabaer township; the second district governs yaluhu Township, Lamu Township, dehenglun Township and ashnu township; the third district governs DOPA Township, qunke Township, Sheren Township, Meijia Township, angsiduo Township, Dega Township, Ertang Township and ruoliga township; the Fourth District governs Zaba Township, laqu Township, Heicheng Township and Chafu township Zhizha Township and xiazhaba township. By the end of 1996, the county had jurisdiction over 3 towns of Bayan, qunke and gandu, 13 townships of yashiga, Zaba, Heicheng, angsiduo, Dejia, Ertang, Jiahe, xiejiatan, dehenglong, shalianbao, ashnu, shidacang and Chuma, and 5 Tibetan townships of Zhizha, Xiongxian, Chafu, Jinyuan and tajia, with a total of 368 administrative villages. Bayan town
also known as bayanrong, it is a town under the jurisdiction of Hualong Hui Autonomous County, Haidong Prefecture, Qinghai Province, where the county government is stationed. Located in the middle of the county. The population is 20000, mainly Han nationality, and Hui nationality accounts for 44% of the total population. It covers an area of 25.4 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 14 village committees and Bayan neighborhood committees, including Jinjiazhuang, shijilie, Shangquan, Kaima, Hadong, xiahula, gaxigou, Confucianist Valley, Xishang, Xixia, Nanjie, Beijie, Dongshang and Dongxia. Bayan town was set up in the Republic of China, Bayan city in 1949, Bayan Township in 1952, changed to Bayan town in 1966, merged with ashnu township to form Bayan commune in 1958, and changed to Bayan town in 1984.
Qunke town
also known as the ancient city, it is a town under the jurisdiction of Hualong Hui Autonomous County, Haidong Prefecture, Qinghai Province. Located in the west of the county, 42 kilometers away from the county seat. The population is 22000, mainly Hui, accounting for 85% of the total population. It covers an area of 100 square kilometers. It has 29 village committees, including qunke, Zetang, wenbuju, xueshizang, ruoja, muha, kemaoqi, yishayi, yishaer, Sheren, Gema, Xiangdong, andaqiha, gongnongbing, Rilan, Gongyi, jialuhu, posts and telecommunications, shuihutan, xiankouyi, xiankoueer, Tannan, Tanbei, Tuanjie I, Tuanjie II, Xincun I, Xincun II, Dongfeng and Tanxin. In 1950, qunke township was set up along the old system. In 1958, qunke commune was set up to move the ancient city. In 1984, it was changed into qunke town.
Gandu town
it is located in the south of the county, 29 kilometers away from the county government. The population is 19000, mainly Hui, accounting for 47% of the total population and Salar for 33%. It covers an area of 164.9 square kilometers. It has 25 village committees, including liebujia, Lamu, zhuhulong, guanba, shangsihe Province, xiasihe Province, Qiaotou, yaluhu, suhejia, Xitan, ahetan, gandujie, tangsigang, gongshijia, Yamu, Ahua, Shuiche, Dongfeng, Dongtan 1, Dongtan 2, donghuai 3, Dongtan 4, Dongtan 5, Dongtan 6 and Dongtan 7. Gandu town was established in the Republic of China. In 1950, it belonged to yaluhu Township and Lamu township. In 1956, yaluhu Township and Lamu Township were merged into gandu township. Gandu commune was established in 1958 and gandu town was established in 1984.
Black town
it is located in the west of the county, 42 kilometers away from the county government. The population is 13000, mainly Hui, accounting for 91% of the total population. It covers an area of 77.7 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 18 village committees, namely sihaning, yishaer, laquyi, laquer, xiangyima, zharang, goulonggou, lagongma, luhuzang, larangtan, Yaodong, shangtan, zonggatang, Chengdong, shalagou, wangantan, dalaqu and Akala. In 1950, Heicheng town was set up along the old system. In 1958, it was incorporated into Zaba commune. In 1962, it was divided into Heicheng commune. In 1984, it was changed into Heicheng town.
Yashiga Township
it is located in the southwest of the county, 49 kilometers away from the county government. The population is 7000, mainly Hui, accounting for 78% of the total population. It covers an area of 53.3 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 13 village committees, namely, waer River, yashiga, shangdopa, xiadopa 1, xiadopa 2, shenguotan 1, shenguotan 2, shenguotan 3, horticultural farm, qurimaka, tangshatan 1, tangshatan 2 and tangshatan 3. In 1981, yashiga commune was set up from qunke commune, and in 1984, yashiga township was set up.
Dehenglong Township
it is located in the south of the county, 39 kilometers away from the county government. The population is 13000, mainly Hui, accounting for 82% of the total population. It covers an area of 262.5 square kilometers.
