Songjiang town

Songjiang town is located in the south of Dongpo District, 5km southwest of Dongpo hometown Meishan City, covering an area of 57.06 square kilometers. It governs 13 villages, 4 neighborhood committees and 110 resident groups, with a total population of 33747 (2017). In 2002, its GDP reached 244.33 million yuan, of which the industrial added value was 188.82 million yuan, accounting for 80% of GDP. The per capita GDP was 10832 yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 15 million yuan. The combined zhangkan town ranked first in the comprehensive economic strength of Meishan town and 19th in Sichuan Province, and was known as the "Southern Silk Road". The merged zhangkan town has an expressway import and export, formerly known as "zhangkan toll station", which is 8 kilometers away from the junction of Dongpo District and Qingshen. Since there is no Expressway import and export in Qingshen County, it was renamed Qingshen toll station on May 1, 2013.

Zhangkan is a small town near Qingshen in Meishan. It used to be a land and water wharf. It's very busy. Now it is under the jurisdiction of Songjiang town, and the town is changing more and more.

Superior geographical location

Songjiang town has ideal location advantages and convenient traffic conditions. There are three market towns in the territory, namely zhangkan market town, Songjiang new market town and Songjiang old market town. Among them, zhangkan market town is the most prosperous. There is a high-speed intersection in the west of zhangkan Town, which was opened in 1999. It is the first town in Dongpo District to open a high-speed intersection. There are ships at the East ferry, and the traffic is developed. It is adjacent to Minjiang River in the East, 70 km from Chengdu in the north, 60 km from Shuangliu International Airport, and 55 km from Emeishan and Leshan in the south. The southwest artery Chengdu Kunming railway and provincial highway 103 run through the whole territory from north to south. Chengdu Leshan Expressway intersects with Chengdu Kunming railway and provincial highway 103, and Meiqing highway intersects with provincial highway 103 at Meiqing intersection, the government's residence. Songjiang has always been a place with beautiful mountains and rivers. There is no severe cold in winter, no severe heat in summer, moderate temperature and four distinct seasons. There are eight famous scenic spots in Meizhou in history, two of which are sent to Songjiang -- Zhongba fishing village and Songjiang night. Before 1970s and 1980s, zhangkan town under the jurisdiction of Songjiang town was called little Chengdu, also known as "endless zhangkan, unsatisfied Chengdu". As zhangkanhe street is directly connected to the wharf and Dadu estuary of Minjiang River, it is located in an economic fortress. Zeng Xiujun, an excellent sprinter born in Jiefang village of our town, won the fourth place in the women's 4 × 100m relay race in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.

There are 102 industrial enterprises in the town. In 2002, the industrial output value reached 755 million yuan, accounting for more than 80% of the town's total industrial and agricultural output value; the total number of enterprise employees reached 6102, accounting for 47% of the town's labor force; the total wage was 30.1 million yuan, accounting for 51% of the per capita net income.
