Tangchuan town

Tangchuan Town, belonging to Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the south of Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, adjacent to halazhigou Township and Dongshan Township in the East, yunjiakou town in Xining City in the south, Wufeng Town, Xishan Township and caijiabao Township in the west, Weiyuan town in the North, and Weiyuan town in the county, with a total area of 155.54 square kilometers.

In 1949, Wuqi township was set up along the old system. In August 2006, Shuangshu Township and shatangchuan Township were abolished and tangchuan town was merged. By the end of 2018, the population of tangchuan town registered residence was 43552. In 2019, tangchuan town governs one community and 28 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 24 industrial enterprises in tangchuan Town, including 11 large-scale enterprises and 45 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters. On May 26, 2020, tangchuan town was selected into the list of strong agricultural towns in 2020.

History of construction

In 1949, Wuqi township was set up along the old system.

In 1954, shatangchuan district was established.

In 1958, shatangchuan commune was established by merging with ganlei and Weijiagou townships in Shuangshu.

In 1983, shatangchuan township was established.

In August 2006, Shuangshu Township and shatangchuan Township were abolished and tangchuan town was merged.
