Jiangnan Township, belonging to Fengman District, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the southeast of Fengman District, bordering Jiaohe City in the East, xiaobaishan Township across the river in the south, Jilin high tech Development Zone in the West and Longtan District and Changyi District in the north. The area is 185.43 square kilometers.
In September 1958, Jiangnan commune was established; in 1983, Jiangnan commune was changed into Jiangnan township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Jiangnan township was 31159. As of June 2020, Jiangnan countryside has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Jianhua Village.
In 2018, there were 42 industrial enterprises in Jiangnan Township, including 11 large-scale enterprises and 54 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In May 1998, Fenghuo village, Guangming Village, Risheng village, Qianfeng village and Rongguang village in Jiangnan Township were classified as high tech Zone; in November of the same year, Ashi village was classified as Zhuque mountain scenic spot.
In December 2008, Ashe and Mengjia villages in Zhuque mountain scenic spot were included in Jiangnan township.
