Historical evolution
Originally known as Wulang temple town, it got its name from the Wulang temple built in the village. In 2015, it was changed to Lianhua street.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the Wulang temple in the North Road 30.
In 1930, wulangmiao dam was located in the north of wulangmiao dam.
In the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939), it was under the jurisdiction of 8 Bao in Doushan township.
In 1950, wulangmiao township (Chengguan town), dujiacao township (Chengguan town), Majiadian township (Yuangong District) and lujiacun township (Yuangong District) were set up in the territory.
In 1956, wulangmiao Township and dujiacao Township merged into wulangmiao township (belonging to Chengguan town), Majiadian Township and lvjiacun Township merged into lvjiacun township (belonging to Yuangong District).
In 1958, wulangmiao township was changed into red flag administrative area (belonging to Longtou District), and Lvjia Village Township was changed into Lvjia village administrative area (belonging to Longtou District).
In 1961, the red flag management area was changed into wulangmiao commune, and the Lvjia village management area was changed into Lvjia village commune.
In 1966, wulangmiao commune was renamed Hongqi commune, and lvjiacun commune was renamed Chaoyang commune.
In 1972, Hongqi commune was renamed wulangmiao commune, Chaoyang commune was renamed lvjiacun commune.
In 1983, wulangmiao commune was changed into wulangmiao Township, with jurisdiction over seven administrative villages; Lvjia village commune was changed into Lvjia Village Township, with jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.
In 1996, lvjiacun Township and wulangmiao Township were merged into wulangmiao Township, which governs 11 administrative villages.
In 2002, yuanyangqiao village was merged into caojia village, Zhangjia village into Lvjia village, and the township has nine administrative villages.
In August 2011, wulangmiao township was changed into wulangmiao Town, which governs nine administrative villages.
On June 28, 2015, Shaanxi Province adjusted the township administrative division, abolished wulangmiao town and established Lianhua street.
