Yangcao Town, belonging to Anda City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Anda City, adjacent to qingkenpao Township in the East, Zhaodong city in the south, anda livestock farm in the West and anda town in the north. Guangxu 32 years (1906), is Zhaozhou hall. In 1914, it belonged to Zhaodong county. During the puppet Manchu period, it belonged to four districts of Zhaodong County, and later to Xuanhua and Chengping villages. In March 1946, it belonged to six districts of Zhaodong county. In 1948, it was divided into eight districts of Anda county. In 1956, it was divided into two townships, Chengping and Nanlai. Now Qinglongshan village belongs to Minzhu township. In 1962, it was divided into Nanlai commune and Yangcao commune. In 1984, Leymus commune was transformed into a township. In March 1985, the township was transformed into a town. In April 2001, Nanlai township was merged into Yangcao town. In October 2019, Yangcao town governs 13 administrative villages.
