Xi'an town, belonging to Dawa District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Dawa District, adjacent to Daliao River in the East, Ping'an town in the south, Tangjia town in the West and Dongfeng Town in the north, with an administrative area of 85.59 square kilometers.
In 1958, Xi'an farm was established, which belongs to Dawa District Office of Panshan County; in 1984, Panjin City was established, and Dawa County was under the jurisdiction of Panjin City; in the same year, Xi'an township was restored; in 1995, Xi'an township was removed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xi'an town was 25748. As of June 2020, Xi'an town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Xi'an town is located at 91 Sheng'an road.
In 2011, the total revenue of Xi'an town was 70 million yuan, an increase of 51% over the previous year. Last year, local fiscal revenue was 47.8 million yuan, an increase of 88%. In 2018, there were 8 industrial enterprises and 67 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Xi'an town.
History of construction
In 1958, Xi'an farm was built, belonging to Dawa District Office of Panshan county.
In 1961, it belonged to Panjin District of Yingkou City.
In 1966, it belongs to Panjin reclamation area.
In January 1970, it belonged to Dawa area of Panjin reclamation area; in July of the same year, it belonged to Dawa area of Panjin area.
November 9, 1975, belonging to Dawa County.
In 1984, Panjin City was established, and Dawa County was under the jurisdiction of Panjin City; in the same year, Xi'an township was restored.
In 1995, Xi'an township was replaced by township.
