Qingyuan town is located in the center of Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. It is adjacent to yingemen town in the East, wandianzi town and Dasuhe Township in the southeast, aojiabao Township in the southwest, nankouqian town and Beisan Township in the West and gounaidian Township in the north. It covers an area of 300.42 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, Qingyuan town had 84736 registered residence population.
In 1938, the town was transformed into Qingyuan street. In February 1947, Qingyuan town was changed. In September 1958, the commune was established. In 1964, Qingyuan town was rebuilt. In August 1998, douhutun town was merged into Qingyuan town. In February 2000, nanbajia Manchu and Korean nationality villages were merged. As of June 2020, Qingyuan town has jurisdiction over 9 communities and 16 administrative villages, and the people's Government of Qingyuan town is located at No. 16, Henan new area.
