Hongxing Township, located in the northeast of Hangjinhou banner, borders Linhe district and Tuanjie town in the East, Lianhe Township in the north, manhui town in the West and Hongqi Township in the south. Covering an area of 72.7 square kilometers, it has 2253 households and 9889 people. It governs seven administrative villages, namely Hefeng, Hesheng, Hongfeng, Hongxing, Minle, Minsheng and Minzhu.

Hongxing township is located in the northeast of Hangjinhou banner, adjacent to Linhe district and Tuanjie town in the East, Lianhe Township in the north, manhui town in the West and Hongqi Township in the south. Covering an area of 72.7 square kilometers, it has 2253 households and 9889 people. It governs seven administrative villages, namely Hefeng, Hesheng, Hongfeng, Hongxing, Minle, Minsheng and Minzhu. Hongxing township has sufficient reserve land resources and great potential for land development. The cultivated land area is 66966 mu, and the total power of agricultural machinery is 14771 horsepower.

In 2001, the total economic income of the township was 67.12 million yuan, and the total output value (current price) of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery was 67.83 million yuan. The total sown area of crops is 50890 mu, including 32093 mu of grain crops, 18042 mu of economic crops and 755 mu of forage crops. The total grain output is 15250 tons. The total number of livestock is 44568. The per capita net income of farmers is 2500 yuan. the main enterprises in Hongxing township are Huafeng Industrial Co., Ltd., eternal Speculator and Xiecheng agricultural and sideline products purchasing and Marketing Co., Ltd., with a total of 90 employees. The edible sunflower of eternal fry factory is exported to Lanzhou, Xi'an and other places.
