Musu Township

Musu township is located in the southeast of Heishui county. It is located in the middle of Luhua Seergu highway, 34 kilometers away from Luhua, covering an area of 112.83 square kilometers. It is adjacent to Weigu Township and shuangliusuo Township, with the highest altitude of 3100 meters and the highest altitude of 1900 meters. There are 9 villages and 23 villager groups in the township, with a total population of 2216 (2017). In 2008, the per capita net income was 1900 yuan. The existing cultivated land area is 8112 mu, the area of returning farmland to forest is 3385 mu, and the forest area of the township is 22835.5 Mu. The main crops in the township are wheat, corn, potato, highland barley, apple, walnut, etc. it is a populous Township with agriculture as the main part of the county.

On June 8, 2020, the people's Government of Sichuan Province cancelled musu Township and divided the administrative area of yuanmusu Township into the administrative area of musu town. The people's Government of musu town is located at No. 31, group 1, Xugu village.

Historical evolution

Ciba township is under the jurisdiction of ancient Canling and pingkang counties; the Ming Dynasty is under the jurisdiction of maizha patriarch; in the 42nd year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (AD 1703), Ciba thousand households were set up, forming its own tribe. In Tongzhi years, tushoubei was set up, which was called "Qibu" tugong; Ciba township was established in October 1956; more than ten villages in kuare were under the jurisdiction of shuangliusuo Township in October 1959; Hongfeng people's commune was established in the spring of 1967; and the township system was restored in January 1984. At present, three village members, gewo, xibeiwo and Shenglun, are recruited.

More than 1000 mu of extra early bearing walnut has been planted, of which 500 mu in dabieswo village and 221 mu in Rizhao village have begun to take shape.
