famous scenery
Falun temple in Shenyang was first built in 1643, the eighth year of Chongde in the Qing Dynasty, and was completed in 1645, the second year of Shunzhi. It is known as Falun temple in the history of protecting the country by the North Tower, and now it is called Falun temple in Shenyang. In 1778, Emperor Qianlong visited the Buddha himself, with the title of "round golden mirror", and he came again five years later. In 1905, the Japanese and Russian artillery destroyed 108 scriptures in the hall. Since the 1920s, it has become a coffin parking place, until before liberation. In 1959, it was under the jurisdiction of the Civil Affairs Bureau. In the 1960s, the Buddha statue was destroyed and toppled. In the mid-1980s, it began to be restored as a cultural relic protection unit. In 2002, it was put under the management of the Religious Bureau and restored to a place for religious activities.
Historically, Falun temple in Shenyang covers an area of more than 24000 square meters and a construction area of more than 3000 square meters. Now it covers a total area of 12876 square meters and a construction area of 8951 square meters. There are 2 land use certificates for allocated land. All the buildings in the site have no house property certificate, so it has been delayed until today because we don't know where to go through the formalities. The district fire brigade registered the unit information and participated in the registered residence management, and reported the data on time. Six large-scale Dharma meetings are held every year in the temple, including chaodu Dharma meeting, Kaiguang Dharma meeting, Manjusri Dharma meeting, pharmacist Qiangong Dharma meeting, exorcism Dharma meeting and huogong Dharma meeting. Two lectures are held on May 1 and 11 every year.
