Dongfeng Town
Dongfeng Town, belonging to Dawa District, Panjin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the east of Dawa district. It is adjacent to Liaohe River and Xinkaihe River in the East, Haicheng City Xisi commune and Panshan County Gucheng commune across the river. In the south, it is adjacent to Xi'an farm along the main water diversion canal. In the west, it is connected with Tangjia and Xinjian farms by Xinkai main water diversion canal. In the north, it is connected with Xinkai farm by Huojia highway. The administrative area is 1 08 square kilometers.
In 1909, it belonged to Haicheng County; in 1985, it was changed to Dongfeng town. By the end of 2018, the population of Dongfeng town registered residence was 23343. As of June 2020, Dongfeng town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed at No. 26, Xinmin Street, Jiazhangsi village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Dongfeng town was 59 million yuan, an increase of 20.8% over the previous year. The per capita fiscal revenue was 2533 yuan, an increase of 20.8% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 12858 yuan. History of construction
Qing Xuantong first year (1909), belongs to Haicheng county.
In 1937, it was put under the jurisdiction of haijiasi county.
In 1939, Xi'an village on the West Bank of Liaohe River was assigned to Panshan county.
In October 1945, the Eighth Route Army entered Panshan county to establish the people's government.
In the spring of 1958, Dongfeng Farm was established in xiaohutai area, which became Dongfeng management area.
In 1962, Panjin Agricultural Reclamation Bureau divided Xi'an farm into Xi'an, Dongfeng and Ping'an farms.
In 1963, it was changed to Dongfeng Township.
In 1966, Panjin Agricultural Reclamation Bureau and Panshan County merged into Panjin reclamation area, and each farm directly belongs to Panjin reclamation area.
In January 1970, it belonged to Dawa area of Panjin reclamation area; in July of the same year, it belonged to Dawa area of Panjin area.
In 1985, it was changed to Dongfeng town.

As of June 2020, Dongfeng Town governs 12 administrative villages: dagangzi village, Majia village, Yejia village, erdaobianzi village, Dongfeng Village, dabeitun village, reservoir village, Jiazhangsi village, yaotun village, Heyan village, Huangjindai village and luanjia village. The town people's government is stationed at No. 26 Xinmin Street, Jiazhangsi village.

Dongfeng town is located in the east of Dawa district. It is adjacent to Liaohe River and Xinkaihe River in the East, across the river from Xisi commune of Haicheng City and Gucheng commune of Panshan county. In the south, it is adjacent to Xi'an farm along the main water diversion canal. In the west, it is connected with Tangjia and Xinjian farms by Xinkaihe main water diversion canal. In the north, it is connected with Xinkai farm by Huojia highway. The administrative area is 108 square kilometers.

The most serious flood disaster occurred in dagangzi village. On July 291985, there were continuous torrential rains in dagangzi village, which was attacked by external flood and internal waterlogging. Dagangzi residents all evacuated the dam, the village flooded, causing serious losses.
