Tongxing Town, belonging to Keshiketeng Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Keshiketeng Banner, adjacent to Linxi County in the East and Southeast, cosmopolitan town and Jingpeng town in the South and southwest, Dalai nuori town in the West and northwest, Bayan Chagan Sumu in the north, and xiwuzhumuqin banner in Xilin Gol League in the northeast. The people's government is stationed in Tongxing village. The administrative area of Tongxing town is 1285 square kilometers. In late 2018, Tongxing town had 15355 registered residence population.

In January 1984, muxiga township was changed and part of the area under the jurisdiction of muxiga township was designated as tianheyuan township. In October 2001, tianheyuan township was merged. In November 2001, muxiga township was transformed into a town. In October 2019, Tongxing town governs 8 administrative villages.
