Guanxi salt farm is a window enterprise of Jiangsu Jinqiao Salt Chemical Group Co., Ltd., with county level specifications. It is located in the south wing of Lianyungang City, on the shore of the Yellow Sea in the northeast of Guanyun County, to the east of Guanhe estuary, and named after it. It is along the Huanghai River in the west, wutuhe farm in Jiangsu Province in the south, and the Yellow Sea in the north, with a total area of 103 square kilometers.

Guanxi salt farm now has 5380 employees, with a production area of 140000 mu. Sea salt, mineral salt production, mariculture and agricultural planting are the basic industries of the farm. The planned annual output of mineral salt is 1 million tons, sea salt is 10000 tons, and all kinds of mariculture products are 15000 tons, with a total social output value of 400 million yuan. with the rapid development of Lianyungang port, Guanxi salt farm has gradually developed from traditional sea salt production to mineral salt production, marine freshwater aquaculture, planting and emerging industries, forming a new industrial layout of Industrial Park, marine freshwater aquaculture area, mineral brine insolation area and agricultural planting and breeding area. At present, with a total investment of 217 million yuan, the first phase of 500000 tons project of solar salt production with an annual output of 100 tons of mineral brine has started construction; the first phase of 50000 square meters of standardized factory building with an area of 100000 square meters in the industrial zone has started construction, and the industrial land with an area of 1200 Mu is attracting investment; the staff resettlement community with an area of 2000 mu and the comprehensive building with an area of 15000 square meters in the seaside new town are under planning and development.
