Xianfeng Township, belonging to Yushu City, Changchun City, Jilin Province, is located in the west of Yushu City, bordering Enyu Township in the East, Liujia town in the south, Wukeshu town and Fuyu County in the west, Gongpeng town in the north. It is 25 kilometers away from Yushu City, with an area of 123.66 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, Xianfeng Township belonged to five trees and six districts; in 1983, it was changed from Xianfeng commune to Xianfeng township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Xianfeng township was 30567. As of June 2020, Xianfeng rural has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Minquan village.
In 2018, Xianfeng Township had 348 industrial enterprises and 117 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to five trees and six districts. During the puppet Manchu period, it belonged to Liujia village. In 1945, Minquan village was set up in Wukeshu district. In April 1948, it belonged to Taiping District.
In December 1957, Minquan village was transformed into Minquan township.
In August 1958, civil rights township was transformed into Civil Rights Commune.
In January 1959, Civil Rights Commune was merged into Wukeshu commune.
In 1961, Wukeshu commune established Taiping commune.
In 1976, Taiping commune was renamed Xianfeng commune.
In 1983, it was changed from Xianfeng commune to Xianfeng township.
