Muli Town, belonging to Gaoqing County, Zibo City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwest of Gaoqing County. It is adjacent to Changjia Town, Tianzhen street and Qingcheng town in the East, Southeast and south, and close to the Yellow River in the West and North, facing Huimin County across the river. In 1984, Muli Township, Yangfang Township and Muli Township were set up in Qingcheng town. In February 1987, part of Yangfang township was put under the jurisdiction of Muli township. In 1991, Qinghe district was established by 8 villages in Yangfang district and 14 villages in Muli district. In 1998, Muli town was established. In June 2020, Muli town governs 37 administrative villages.
