Weicun town

Weicun town is located in the dry land and hilly area in the northwest of Yaodu District, 25 kilometers away from the city. It is adjacent to Wucun town in the East, yipingyuan Township in the west, Tumen town in the South and Longma township of Hongdong County in the north. The town has 10 administrative villages, 2802 households, 12085 people, and the cultivated land area is 22000 mu. From 1999 to 2002, the town Party committee and the town government took adjusting the industrial structure, increasing farmers' income and striving to build a well-off society as their main direction. At the same time, yangshe, Hecun, yangshezhuang and other villages along both sides of the expressway are mainly developed in the lower part, Xiguo and jijiazhuang are mainly developed in the upper part, and Weicun and liangjiazhuang are radiated in the upper part. With Zhonghua Shengtao as the leading variety, and Wanmi, Dajiubao and other excellent varieties are intercropped, with a planting area of 5000 mu. The development of agricultural planting in the town is mainly based on the original grain crops, constantly improving the yield per unit area, adjusting to stable grain high-yield fields, vigorously developing dry and fresh fruit production, and initially improving the grain to economic ratio from 9:1 in 1998 to 6:4. Three major breeding projects of beef cattle, laying hens and superior breed sheep have been determined and supported: 1.
