Chengzi Township
Chengzi Township, belonging to Songshan District, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the west of Songshan District, bordering on mujiayingzi town in the East, karaqin banner in the south, Hebei Province in the unitary, and Wangfu town in the north. The area is 357 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 32308 people registered residence.
On May 1, 1966, Shanjian commune was separated from Houtougou commune and moved to huajianggoumen village. The name of the commune is still used. In 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Chengzi commune was changed. In 1980, the Management Committee of Chengzi commune was restored. In 1984, Chengzi township was changed to a suburb of Chifeng City. In December 2005, Houtougou, nianfang and Chengzi were merged into Chengzi township. As of June 2020, Chengzi countryside has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages.
By the end of 2018, there were 13 industrial enterprises in Chengzi Township, including 1 industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 35 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In 1945, at the beginning of liberation, it was located in Chixi County of Jehol province.
At the beginning of October 1949, it belonged to the former Chengzi community of Chifeng county.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and Chengzi township was built.
In 1958, Chengzi township was transformed into a commune, belonging to Chifeng City.
In 1960, it was incorporated into Houtougou commune.
In 1962, it belongs to Chifeng county.
On May 1, 1966, Shanjian commune was separated from Houtougou commune and moved to huajianggoumen village. The name of the commune is still used.

The highest peak of jiajiashan is located in jiajiashan village, with an altitude of 978 meters; the lowest point is Xinzhuang village, with an altitude of 767 meters.
