Jinhe town

Jinhe Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Genhe City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is the residence of Jinhe Forestry Bureau, a large-scale state-owned second grade forest industry enterprise. It is located in the northwest of Genhe City, adjacent to Ganhe in the East, dierbur in the southwest, mordaoga in the west, and Alongshan in the north, with an administrative area of 5353 square kilometers.

In 1959, Jinhe town was established and managed by xiguitu banner; in 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Jinhe town was transformed into the people's government. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Jinhe town was 19851. As of June 2020, Jinhe town has four communities under its jurisdiction.

History of construction

In March 1956, the Forest Management Bureau of Jinhe Forest Management District of Hulun League was established.

In 1958, Jinhe Forestry Bureau was formally established; on May 24 of the same year, Jinhe Forest Industry Bureau merged with the Forest Management Bureau of Jinhe Forest Management District of Hulun League, which was called Jinhe Forestry Bureau.

In 1959, Jinhe town was established and managed by xiguitu banner.

In 1961, it was taken over by Erguna Left Banner.

In 1966, it was under the management of Erguna Left Banner.

In 1969, it was renamed Jinhe town Revolutionary Committee.

In 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Jinhe town was transformed into the people's government.

In 1994, the banner was removed to build Genhe City, and Jinhe town was assigned to Genhe City.

In 2001, the township was merged with the town, Niuerhe town was abolished, and the administrative division was transferred to Jinhe town.

The origin of place names

Jinhe town gets its name because it is located on the East Bank of Jinhe. "Jinhe" is the Ewenki language, which means "Yudi's loin".
