Yongle township is located in the eastern suburb of Guiyang City, with a total area of 42.6 square kilometers. It governs five administrative villages, including Shuitang, Ganjing, Yongle, Yangjiao and Shitang, and 39 villager groups. There are 11936 people living in Han, Miao and Buyi Ethnic Groups (Luoli and Baiyang villages were entrusted to Longhang Airport Economic Development Zone in 2016).
Vegetables and fruits are the pillar industry of the township, with a planting area of more than ten thousand mu. "Yongle" yanhongtao is rated as the provincial high-quality agricultural products, "Yongle" vegetables have registered trademarks, and Yongle is known as the "fruit plate" and "vegetable basket" of Guiyang city.

Yongle township is a pure agricultural township with fruits and vegetables as the leading industry. The township has 3628 mu of professional vegetable land, 7000 mu of grain area vegetable land, 27000 mu of multiple cropping area, 64500 tons of vegetables per year and 48000 tons of export; 9563 mu of orchards, including 4500 mu of high-quality yanhongtao base, 1000 mu of Zhonghuashoutao base and 4063 mu of other areas, with an annual output of more than 6100 tons of fruits; 1000 mu of lotus root base, with an annual output of 1750 tons Tons.
