Dukoubu Township, belonging to Huai'an County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Huai'an County, adjacent to Chaigoubao town in the East, Xiwanbao Township and Tianzhen County in Shanxi Province in the south, southwest and West, Xiaosuangou Township in Shangyi County in the north, 11.3km away from the people's Government of Huai'an County, with a total area of 202.37km2.
In 1949, the territory of dukoupu Township belonged to five districts of Huai'an County; in 1984, it was changed from dukoupu commune to dukoupu township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of 16807 people was in the village. As of June 2020, dukoupu village has jurisdiction over 27 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in dukoupu village.
