It was called Zhaojing town in ancient times because it was rich in well salt in Tang and Song dynasties. Riverside town is located in the southwest of Daying County, 25 kilometers away from the county seat, 135 kilometers away from Chengdu, and borders on Baolin town of Lezhi county. Riverside town has a vast territory, rich products and outstanding people. Pengle Road, a second-class cement road with unique geographical location, strong edge and heavy mountains, runs through the whole county, 24 kilometers away from the county, with convenient transportation and extending in all directions; riverside town has mild climate, abundant rainfall, four distinct seasons and long frost free period.

The town takes grain, cotton, oil, pig, fruit, vegetable and other pillar industries, and the total annual output of cotton with development scale has reached more than 1000 tons; there are more than 50000 live pigs and goats in the market, and the pig production is the leading breeding industry of riverside town; the average annual output of famous and high-quality fruits mainly including China's unique white lemon and the famous "rongxianyou" in Sichuan has reached more than 2800 tons, and a large-scale development has been formed Sang Youhuan is full of vitality; 42 greenhouse vegetable demonstration bases have been built in yujiazhai village; 661 township enterprises have been established.

After scientific demonstration, the town plans to take Wanfu mushroom industry as the leader to create an edible mushroom base in Daying county. It is expected to develop 1000 growers and 500 mu of mushroom in paddy field. Wanfu mushroom industry will include science, technology, yield and recycling, so as to truly drive the people to get rich and get rid of the constraints of traditional farming methods, so as to make the whole town's farmers rich.
