Shuitou Town is located in the east of Fogang County, 113 ° 40 ′ E and 23 ° 53 ′ n, bordering Conghua City in the southeast, Yangjiao mountain in the southwest, Jingtou town in the north, Gaogang town in the northwest and Shijiao town in the west, 11 km away from Fogang County. The total area of the town is 146.21 square kilometers, including 174 313 mu of mountainous area, 15 219 mu of cultivated land, and 11 616 mu of paddy field. The town government is located in shuitouwei, which has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages including Tandong, Xitian, Shitan, Guitian, Guiyuan, Xinlian, Tongxi, Wangtian, Xindi and lianyao, and 1 community in Shuitou. Evolution of organizational system
The town is the source of Shujiang River, so it is called Shuitou. Shuitou has a long history. In 1813, it belonged to tingjihe township of Fogang County. During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Tianshui township of first district of Fogang County. After the founding of new China in October 1949, it belonged to Shuitou township of Second District of Fogang County. Shuitou district was set up in 1955 and changed to township in 1957. In October 1958, it belonged to Shuitou brigade of Fogang people's commune of Conghua County. In May 1961, it belonged to Shuitou commune of Fogang County In January 1997, the district was removed and the town was built, which is called Shuitou Town.

Tongtian candle mountain in the east of the town is 1047 meters above sea level, the second highest peak in the county. Shuitou Town has a subtropical climate. The annual average temperature is 20.6 ℃, higher than 10 ℃, the annual accumulated temperature is about 7519 ℃, the annual average rainfall is 2206.8 mm, and the annual frost free period is about 266 days. It is rich in geothermal mineral water (i.e. hot spring). The water temperature is kept between 37 ℃ and 38 ℃ all the year round, and the daily flow is 1500 cubic meters. The natural soil is mainly red soil developed from granite, which is deep and fertile.

There are abundant water resources, such as Shujiang River, which originates from Tongtian candle (mountain name) in Shuitou, Tongxi River, a tributary of Shujiang River, and huangtang Wudong water. Economic situation
Industry is the pillar of economic development in Shuitou Town. In 2003, there were 505 small and medium-sized township enterprises in the town, including 5 medium-sized industrial enterprises, including daily plastic, food processing, bamboo and rattan technology, printing, textile, electric power, mining, cotton processing, paper tube processing, graphite processing, brick and tile production and industry. In 2002, the total business income of township enterprises was 89.75 million yuan, and the total profit was 5.58 million yuan.
