Qunbach town
Qunbak Town, belonging to Luntai County, Bayingolin Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Luntai County. It is connected with aksalai Township in the East, horticultural farm, halbak Township and Caohu Township in the south, Kuqa County in Aksu Prefecture in the West and Hejing County in the north. It is 17 kilometers away from Luntai County, with a total area of 103.43 square kilometers.
In 1892, qunbake town belonged to Yuetang village of Luntai County; in June 2000, qunbake town was changed from qunbake township to qunbake town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in group town was 14459. In 2019, qunbak town has two communities and seven administrative villages.
The main food crops in qunbake town are wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. In 2018, there are 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in qunbach town.
History of construction
Qing Guangxu eighteen years (1892), is Luntai County Yuetang village.
In 1950, it was under the management of two regions.
In 1957, after the "district" was abolished and the village was merged, it was changed into "qunbake township".
In 1958, it became the red flag commune.
In December 1959, the red flag commune was changed into qunbach commune.
In 1970, qunbach commune was changed into victory commune.
In 1978, the name of qunbach commune was restored.
In December 1984, fuqunbake commune was transformed into fuqunbake township.
In June 2000, qunbake township was transformed into qunbake town.
