Dayang town
Dayang Town, subordinate to Dongfeng County, Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province, is located in the south of Dongfeng County. In the East, it borders Heishantou Town, Hongmei town and Zhonghe town of Meihekou city; in the south, it connects hengdaohe town and Meishan town of Meihekou city; in the west, it borders xiaosiping town; in the north, it borders nantunji town and Sanhe Manchu Korean township. It covers an area of 295.95 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Dayang town was 39618.
In 1945, it belonged to Zengfu village. In 1947, it belonged to the Fourth District of dayangwai. In 1985, the commune was transformed into a town. In 2005, Yingbi mountain was merged into the city. As of June 2020, Dayang town has jurisdiction over 23 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Meihe street.

Dayang town is located in Jilin hadaling low mountains and hills and Huifa River Valley area, the terrain is high in the West and low in the East. Xiongyaoding mountain, the highest point in the territory, is located at the junction of Dayang town and xiaosiping Town, with an altitude of 701 meters; the exit of Meihe river is located at Yingbishan village.

The river course in Dayang town belongs to Huifa River system of Songhua River Basin, covering an area of 296 square kilometers, accounting for 100%. The largest river in the territory is Meihe River, which originates from the eastern foot of Qingling Nanshan Mountain and runs through 13 villages including Sanli, Changle, Baoshan, Jinniu, Dayang, Liujia, Tuanshan, Xinglong, huding, Shuanglong, Yingbishan, Changsheng and ganfangdi from west to East. After leaving the country, it is huirenhuifa River (also known as Daliu River upstream) in Meihekou City, with a length of 32 km, and its main tributaries are fuhegou and hudingzigou .
