Dieshi Township
Dieshi Township, belonging to Fuding City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwest of Fuding City. It is adjacent to Tongshan office in the southeast, Guanyang town in the southwest, yayang town in Taishun County, Zhejiang Province in the northwest, and Guanling town in the northeast. The total land area under the jurisdiction is 76.8 square kilometers. In 2017, 12206 households registered residence in the Shihezi township. In 2018, 20428 households registered residence in the Shihezi township.
Dieshi township is named for its rich mineral resources. In 1971, he moved to Dieshi village and changed his name to Yushi commune. In December 1982, it became Dieshi commune. In 1983, it was changed to the stone stacking area. In 1987, it was renamed Dieshi township. As of June 2020, Dieshi township has 14 administrative villages.
In 2018, Dieshi Township had 30 industrial enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the Northern Song Dynasty, some people mined silver here, called Yulin Yinchang; in the fifth to seventh year of Xining (1072-1074), there were supervisors in Yinchang. It originally belonged to 18 capitals of lianjiangli, Quanru Township, Funing Prefecture. After Fuding county was established, it was the eighteen capitals of Fuding county.
In May 1949, it belongs to Nanxi township.
In June 1949, Nanxi district was set up and changed to Kukou District in November.
In May 1952, it was changed into Guanling district.
In August 1958, it belonged to Nanxi and Kukou communes.
In April 1959, it was incorporated into Tongshan commune.
In July 1968, 13 production brigades including Dieshi and downstairs were set up from Tongshan commune to establish Nanxi commune.
In 1971, he moved to Dieshi village and changed his name to Yushi commune. In December 1982, it became Dieshi commune.
In 1983, it was changed to the stone stacking area.
In 1987, it was renamed Dieshi township.

The main rivers in Dieshi township are Huijia River and Chetou river. Among them, the river in the territory belongs to the upper reaches of Huijia River, running through the whole territory from west to East.

There are silver deposits in Dieshi Township, which belong to medium-sized deposits with 13 kinds of non-ferrous metals such as lead, zinc, copper, sulfur and iron. The reserves of lead-zinc deposits are 14.377 million tons, with an average grade of 11.4%. There are also a large number of granite, diabase, tuff, quartzite, kaolin and other minerals. Other natural resources are radon springs. The temperature of the fountain mouth reaches 68 ℃, mainly distributed in the East China Grand Canyon, the artificial lake of Nanxi reservoir, and the underground vein zone of huijiaxi reservoir mouth 1.

The main natural disasters in Dieshi township are typhoon, continuous rainstorm, forest fire and landslide, which mainly occur from April to October, and freezing mainly occurs from October to February of the next year. The most serious typhoon disaster occurred on August 10, 2006. According to incomplete statistics, there are 1149 collapsed houses in 152 households and 4788 damaged houses in 165 households.
