Sanshan Township

Sanshan Township, belonging to Chongren County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northwest of Chongren County, adjacent to Heshang Town, Bashan town and Baipi Township in the southeast, and Linfeng city in the northwest. The township covers an area of 82.5 square kilometers, including 15000 mu of arable land and more than 70000 mu of woodland, with jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 75 natural villages. In late 2018, the population of three hills township had 15 thousand and 900 registered residence.

Historical evolution

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to three districts, Sanshan Township and Baipi township.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to the fifth administrative region of Chongren County, including Sanshan Township, Liufang Township, Tangping Township and Zhang Township; in 1956, it merged into Sanshan Township and Liufang township; in 1958, it belonged to Heshang commune and Luoshan reclamation farm; in 1961, it established Sanshan commune; in 1968, it merged into Heshang commune; in May 1971, it reestablished Sanshan commune; in June 1984, it abolished Sanshan commune To establish Sanshan township.
