Qingyang Town, subordinate to Fuling District of Chongqing, is located in the southwest of Fuling District, bordering Mawu town in the East, Miaoya township of Wulong District, Tongle Township and Longtan town of Fuling District in the south, Dashun Township and Xinmiao town of Luoling District in the west, and Linshi town in the north. History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to linshili, Fuzhou.
In the Qing Dynasty, there was Qingyang shop in Changzhou.
In 1931, it belonged to the Second District of Fuling county (zhumawu town). In 1935, Taiping town was reduced to township.
At the beginning of 1950, it belonged to the Fifth District (in Miaoya township) and the Sixth District (in Longtan Township) of Fuling County, and Qingyang and Taiping townships were still established.
In 1956, it belongs to Longtan District of Fuling county (in Longtan Township), with Qingyang and Taiping townships.
In October 1958, Qingyang and Taiping were transformed into communes.
In May 1982, Taiping commune was renamed Shuangshi commune.
In January 1984, Qingyang commune and Shuangshi commune were changed into Qingyang Township and Shuangshi Township respectively.
