Datai Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Fuping County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Fuping County, adjacent to Taiyu Township and Pingyang town in the East, Wanglinkou town in the south, shijiazhai Township in the West and Laiyuan County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 7 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 22.4 kilometers, with a total area of 177.18 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total registered residence of Tai Tai township was 13146.
In July 1961, the tatai commune was established. In 1984, it was changed to Datai township. As of June 2020, Datai township has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in kangjiagou village, Baiya.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Datai township was 27.71 million yuan. The total revenue was 1.3415 million yuan, an increase of 59% over the previous year. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Datai Township, including one above scale and seven comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In September 1958, it belonged to Dongsheng commune.
In July 1961, it was founded as the Datai commune.
In 1984, it was changed to Datai township.
In February 1996, Baiya township was incorporated into the city.
