History of construction

During the reign of xianfushun and Jiajing, most of the villages in Zhangzhuang town belonged to luotoushe, the fifth township.

During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to luotou society among the eleven societies.

During the reign of Guangxu, it belonged to luotou society in Dongxiang; at the end of Qing Dynasty, it was divided into 8 districts, which belonged to Lianqing district.

In 1930, the county was divided into 10 districts, under the jurisdiction of the fifth Lianqing district.

In October 1941, most of the villages in the territory were included in the base area and were designated as the Fifth District by Zou County Anti Japanese democratic government.

In June 1948, it was changed to the Sixth District; in autumn, it was changed to Zhangzhuang district.

In November 1950, it was renamed the Sixth District village.

In October 1956, Zhangzhuang district was removed and Zhangzhuang township was built, which was under the jurisdiction of Tianhuang district.

In March 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, and the villages in the territory were divided into Zhangzhuang Township and Guozhuang township; in September 1958, Zhangzhuang commune was established.
