Ancient town, located at the junction of Ruijin, Jiangxi Province and Changting, Fujian Province, is an ancient town under the jurisdiction of Changting County, Longyan City, Fujian Province. It is adjacent to Datong town in the East, Sidu town in the south, Jiangxi Province in the northwest, 22 km away from the city and 18 km away from Ruijin City, Jiangxi Province. Uprising in the ancient city: during the second Civil Revolutionary War, Mao Zedong and Zhu De led the Red Army to "uprising in the ancient city" and set up a revolutionary base here. At 8:00 p.m. on November 20, 1929 (October 22 of the lunar calendar), Duan fenfu, Secretary of the county Party committee, Li Guoyu, head of the Tingxi Party committee, and more than 200 people directly led the peasant uprising team, together with more than 40 people from the uprising team of the Gucheng Youth League defense Bureau, held a riot, intercepting and killing Qiu Yaoli, head of the Changting County of the Kuomintang, Guo Ruiping, director of public security, judge Zeng Guanqun, director of education, Lin Yongzhang, Ju Ren, Zhang Xuanqing, and Xie Zhang, President of the chamber of Commerce Hou, vice president Qiu hailou, tax director you nanxuan, etc. On the 23rd, a mass meeting was held to establish the Tingxi Revolutionary Committee. At the meeting, the provisional revolutionary court publicly sentenced the above eight people to death. After the meeting, the Tingxi Revolutionary Committee led the peasants to fight against local tyrants and distribute grain and wealth. More than 500 tons of millet were distributed. At the same time, Hu Haiqing (monitor of Chiwei) and others of the riot team went to Tingzhou to report victory to the Fourth Red Army. Mao Zedong and Zhu De awarded the riot team 15 five ring daily cap guns and a yellow maned horse. Under the concern of Chairman Mao and commander Zhu, the Tingxi workers' and peasants' armed forces soon developed into a guerrilla group with hundreds of people and more than 100 guns. Liu Yihui served as the leader and Huang Jilie served as the party representative.

The ancient post station site, commonly known as Luokeng pass, was built in 1280, the first year of Jiading in Song Dynasty. It was repaired in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The existing masonry arch is 3 meters high, 2.5 meters wide and 5 meters long. On the top of the arch, there used to be a Pearl Tower, which has been destroyed for a long time. There are dozens of shops and inns around, and the traces of the remains can be identified, covering an area of about 1.500 square meters. It is a pity that the contents are not complete, so it is impossible to verify more historical materials. The existing ancient road is an official road made of river pebbles, extending from the valley to Jingtou village beside the ancient town. Luodao is 3 meters wide and about 2 kilometers long. It is a "Che Ma Dao" and can be used by vehicles. The discovery of the ancient post station site provides another witness for the study of the traffic history between ancient Fujian Province and other provinces, which has high textual research value.

Changting ancient city, according to the research, has been built in the Song Dynasty, according to the mountain pass, there have been barracks since ancient times, "the ancient city" is named here. According to the research, the post road from Qujiang (Shaoguan, Guangdong) to Tingzhou in Tang Dynasty passed through the ancient city. Therefore, the ancient city has always been a trade town between the military center and the border of Fujian and Jiangxi.

In 1990, Guyi station of Gucheng town in Changting County was listed as the third batch of county-level cultural relics protection units.
