Wanquan town
Wanquan town belongs to Pingyang County, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the Wanquan plain in the lower reaches of Feiyun River. The geographical coordinates of the core block are 27 ° 42 'n and 120 ° 35' e. it is adjacent to the newly established Haixi town in the East, Kunyang town in the south, xianjiang town in Ruian City in the west, and the south urban area in Ruian City in the north. Yulong town
Located in the east of Pingyang County, 7 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 15.9 square kilometers and has a population of 12700 (at the end of 2008). It has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages including Zhongzhen, gulong, Yubei, Taitou, Zhouzhou, Hehua, Shangcheng, YuCha, Jiakou, Nanmen, mache, Xindu, aodou, wujiaodou, Henghu, Xiangwan, Fengmen, Longtou, Yulong and Yunan. The town government is stationed in Yulong. Cuan [evolution] at the beginning of liberation, it belonged to Lianchuan township. Jianyulong township was separated in 1950, commune was established in 1961, township was changed in 1984, and Xiangshan township was merged in 1992. Yuanwanquan town
Located in the northeast of Pingyang County, 8 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over 54 administrative villages and the town government is located at 506 Wanquan road. It belongs to the alluvial plain of Feiyun River and is the commodity grain base of Wenzhou City. National highway 104 and ruipingtang river run through the whole town. [evolution] Huping Township, Wanquan District, was established in 1949. It was divided into Songqiao Township, Huling Township and Zhenglou Township in 1950 and merged into Songqiao Township in 1955. In 1958, it belonged to Wanquan commune and was the administrative area of Songqiao, Zhenglou and Huling. Communes were established in 1961 and townships were changed in 1984. In 1985, Songqiao was abolished. In 1992, Huling township was merged into Songqiao Town, Lianchuan Township into Zhenglou Township, and Zhenglou town was built. In 1997, Songqiao town covers an area of 27.9 square kilometers and has a population of 23000. In 1929, it was renamed Wanquan district. In 1932, the original name of the district was cancelled and given a number. Chengxiang and Wanquan were merged into "the first district". In 1938, the appellation of Wanquan district was restored. In 1940, the township area was adjusted and Wanquan district was abolished. All the townships belonged to the county. Wanquan district was restored in 1947 until the founding of the people's Republic of China. in the early 1950s, it was still called "Wanquan district". In 1956, Wanquan district was abolished, and its townships were directly under the jurisdiction of the county. In May 1958, Wanquan district was restored. In November 1958, the district system was abolished, and the Wanquan people's commune, which integrates government and society, was implemented. In 1961, Wanquan people's commune was abolished and Wanquan district was restored. In May 1992, Pingyang County implemented the policy of withdrawing districts, expanding towns and merging townships. So far, "Wanquan" as the name of district and town administrative region no longer exists. In July 2010, the two towns of Zhenglou and Songqiao merged to form Wanquan town. In April 2011, Yulong town and Songbu town were abolished and merged into Wanquan town. In December 2012, except Zhoulong village and yelong village, Lianchuan community under Wanquan town was assigned to Kunyang town. So far, Wanquan town has five communities including Huling, Songqiao, Zhenglou, Yulong and Songbu, and 71 administrative villages. In February 2015, Wanshun village, a new immigration village in Shunxi reservoir area, was added to Zhenglou community, and Wanquan town has 72 administrative villages. In April 2016, after a new round of township administrative division adjustment, Songbu community separated from Wanquan town and established Haixi town with Xiwan community of Aojiang town. So far, Wanquan town has jurisdiction over 62 administrative villages.
