Liangshui Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Langzhong City, Sichuan Province, is located in the east of Langzhong City, bordering Yilong county. Covering an area of 44.5 square kilometers, it governs 14 villages and 136 villager groups, with a total of 5599 households and 16070 people, including 338 non-agricultural population. The cultivated land area of the town is 12467 mu. With fruit and vegetable, Chinese herbal medicine, high-quality grain and oil, animal husbandry, sericulture "five industries economy" as the backbone industry. Grain crops mainly include wheat, rice, corn, sweet potato and various beans; economic crops mainly include rape, peanut, Chinese herbal medicine, etc.

With an area of 44.5 square kilometers, Liangshui village governs 14 villages: Liangshuijing community neighborhood committee, Ma'an community neighborhood committee, qiyangshan village, chongshanguan village, dingshanmiao village, xianjiamiao village, hushanliang village, fenggusi village, tangqingba village, longxiushan village, fengziya village, yinzhenshan village, liangjiadian village and xuejiagou village.
evolution
It is located in Liangshuijing, and hence its name. Liangshui well site was established in Qing Dynasty. Liangshui township was established in 1951. It was changed into Liangshui commune in 1958, Xinghuo commune in 1967, Liangshui commune in 1971 and Liangshui Township in 1984. In 1986, the township covers an area of 24.2 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 10 villages and 77 villager groups. In 1992, Jincheng town was merged into Liangshui town. In 1996, Jincheng town was established. In 2005, Hushan township was merged into Liangshui township. in may 2014, the provincial government approved the change of Liangshui Township from township system to town system, abolished Liangshui Township and renamed Liangshui town. geographical environment
Liangshui township is located in the subtropical warm and humid monsoon climate zone of Sichuan Basin, with crisscross gullies and undulating mountains. It is located in the area of middle hills and valleys. The terrain is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, with an average altitude of 650 meters.
