Yongxing
Yongxing Town is located in the west of Pucheng County, commonly known as Xixiang. It is located at 118 ° 15 ′ - 118 ° 26 ′ E and 27 ° 50 ′ - 28 ° 01 ′ n. It is adjacent to Liantang Town in the East, Linjiang town in the southeast, shanxiaxiang town in the south, Fengxi town and Wuyishan City in the west, Gulou town in the north. It is 19 kilometers wide from east to west and 20 kilometers long from north to south. Wuyi Mountains enter from the West. There are 4 peaks of 1000 meters in the southwest and 6 peaks of 1000 meters in the north.
The Mianshan mountain extends from north to south to East, forming the southwest, northwest and East peaks. The central and southern part is hilly and valley basin, and the whole territory forms the terrain inclined from northeast to Southeast. The highest altitude is 1234m and the lowest is 250m. There are 4 large valley basins with a total area of 15318.75 mu, among which yongpingfan is the largest with an area of 6292.50 mu.
Yongxing stream (also known as Xixi), the third largest stream in the county, is the main stream, flowing into the riverside from northwest to Southeast, with an average flow of 20.45 cubic meters per second. The territory belongs to the low altitude subtropical rheumatic climate zone, with the annual average temperature of 17 ℃, the highest temperature of 39 ℃, the lowest temperature of 8 ℃, frost free period of about 250 days, and the average annual precipitation of 1794 mm. Yongxing, formerly known as Xixiang street, was renamed Yongxing in 1944 after yongpingli and xinxingli. It is 265 meters above sea level and 42 kilometers away from the county seat.
In 2017, the administrative area was 20790 hectares, with a permanent population of 12176.
Historical evolution
Yongxing Town has a long history, and 18 sites from Shang Dynasty to Western Zhou Dynasty have been found. From the Song Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, it was yongpingli, tongdeli, shangxiangli, zhaoxianli and xinxingli. During the period of the Republic of China, there was a regional administration. In the spring of the 27th year of the Republic of China, Wang Wenbo, leader of the Northern Fujian Soviet Area, established the first CPC Pucheng County Committee in Xiaojia village. After liberation, the Sixth District was set up in Yongxing in October 1950, under the jurisdiction of 11 townships. The upstream people's commune was established in mid September 1958 and renamed Yongxing people's commune in December. In 1961, Yongxing Working Committee was set up under the jurisdiction of Yongxing, Yangxi and Gulou communes. In March 1964, the establishment of working committee was cancelled. After adjustment, Yongxing commune has 14 brigades under its jurisdiction.
natural resources
The territory is rich in hydropower resources. The annual average total runoff of one main stream and five tributaries is 800 million cubic meters, and the river gradient of the main stream is 3.95 ‰. Hydropower has great development value. Xixi may develop 4950 kilowatts of hydropower resources. The total installed capacity of hydropower has been developed is 1040 kilowatts, and there is one undeveloped area in Lianxi. There are abundant underground water resources. In 1992, the township government drilled two 75 meter deep wells in niuweilong field of Yongxing Village, with a daily water yield of 700 tons. The water quality is excellent, and it has been proved to meet the standard of mineral water by the provincial health and epidemic prevention and environmental sanitation supervision and monitoring departments.
There are abundant pyrite, silver and lead-zinc deposits. The place names of Lupu and Yinchang are the places of ancient iron making and silver mining (lead and zinc). After liberation, the maximum annual output of pyrite and lead-zinc mines was 70000 tons and 20000 tons respectively. In addition, there are granite, fluorite, quartz and so on. In particular, granite resources are extremely rich. After exploration by the provincial geological department, the reserves are more than 40 million cubic meters. The main varieties are peony red, poinsettia, sesame black, and have the characteristics of good rock structure, high quality and high yield. There are 237471 mu of land resources in mountainous area, including 165236 mu of forest land, 389500 cubic meters of forest stock, 35000 mu of Phyllostachys pubescens, 57.3% of forest coverage, 44100 mu of agricultural arable land, and nearly 40000 mu of cash crops. It is a major agricultural town in the county. The water chestnut produced by hongchui is the main cash crop, with an area of 230 mu, ranking first in all townships (towns) in the county.
In 2005, according to the data provided by Pucheng Statistics Bureau, the total sown area of crops in the town was 91150 mu, including 55400 mu of grain crops, with a total output of 19789 tons; 3250 mu of oil crops, with a total output of 243 tons; 19700 mu of vegetables, melons and fruits, with a total output of 14480 tons; 1641 cubic meters of young forest tending, with a total timber output of 18039 cubic meters in forest production; 2 In animal husbandry, there were 16000 pigs and 180000 poultry; the tea picking area was 292 mu, with a total output of 5 tons; the garden fruit picking area was 4375 mu, with a total output of 590 tons.
