Datong Town
Datong Town, belonging to Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the east of Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County, bordering Qianjiang District in the East, tonglou Township in the south, Sangzhe town in the west, Zouma Township and Longxi town in the north, with a total area of 47.66 square kilometers.
In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), the fine sand was abandoned and divided into two townships, Datong and Qinghe, and Datong township was the first one; in 2013, it was changed from Xiaochang township to Datong town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Datong town was 8636. As of June 2020, Datong town has one community and three administrative villages, and the people's Government of Datong town is located in dachangba.
Datong town mainly produces corn, potatoes and red goats, and livestock is mainly for raising pigs, cattle, goats and poultry. The industry mainly produces materials such as building materials and baijiu. In 2018, Datong town has 3 industrial enterprises and 11 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, the territory belonged to Xisha township.
In the 21st year of the Republic of China (1932), the fine sand was abandoned and divided into two townships, Datong and Qinghe. In 1946, Datong and Qinghe merged into Tonghe township.
In January 1951, it was separated from the same river and then set up Datong township.
In February 1958, Datong township was changed into Datong commune.
In March 1981, in the general survey of place names, in order to avoid duplicate names, it was renamed Xiaochang commune.
In February 1984, the small factory commune was removed and changed into a small factory Township.
In 2013, Xiaochang township was replaced by Datong town.
