Shuangbei Township, subordinate to Longyao County, Xingtai City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Longyao County, adjacent to Dongliang town in the East, Neiqiu County in the South and West, bounded by river and Yincun town in the north, 15 kilometers away from Longyao County People's government, with a total area of 36.68 square kilometers.
During the period of the Republic of China, Shuangbei Township belonged to the Second District of Longyao County; in 1984, Shuangbei commune was changed into Shuangbei township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Shuang Bei township was 33332. As of June 2020, Shuangbei township has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in Shuangbei village.
In 2018, there were 15 industrial enterprises in Shuangbei Township, including one above scale and 48 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Shuangbei town has many historic sites, such as the site of birencheng, the tomb of fan Tengfeng, and the tombs of Li Tan family.
The bairencheng site is a famous historical city in the spring and Autumn period, with a total length of 8017 meters and an area of about 4 square kilometers; the east wall is 2225 meters long, the west wall is 1451 meters long, the south wall is 1915 meters long, and the north wall is 242 meters long. In May 2013, the bairencheng site was designated as a national key cultural relic protection unit by the State Council.
