There are Beijing Zhuhai Expressway, Beijing Guangzhou railway and 107 National Highway in the territory, and the highway traffic network is all over the town. It has the only telecommunication hub building in the south of Jiangxia. The main natural gas pipeline of "Sichuan East Gas Transmission" has a distribution station, a compression station and a gate station in Anshan, and a 20000 KVA power supply station, providing sufficient water, electricity, road, gas and communication supply for Anshan's economic development.

Anshan was formerly known as Ma'anshan. Located about 200 meters south of the hilly land, it is named because the stone mountain looks like a saddle. In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xiannan Township and governed Yiren and Xiangdong Liangli. In the Republic of China, Ma'anshan and ma'afaxiang were established. In June 1949, the people's Government of the Sixth District of the county (Ma'anshan) administered Xinyao and MafA townships. In 1951, it was the third district with jurisdiction over seven townships. In 1952, the county no hillside Guidance Group governed Anshan township.
