Zhaling Lake Township, belonging to Maduo County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the west of Maduo County, bordering Huashixia town and Machali town in the East, Chengduo County in Yushu prefecture in the south, qumalai County in Yushu prefecture in the west, and Dulan County in Haixi County in the north, with a total area of 6181.63 square kilometers.
Before December 1957, the jurisdiction of Zhaling Lake Township was under the jurisdiction of Gande county and dari County of Guoluo Autonomous Prefecture; in June 1984, Zhaling Lake commune was renamed Zhaling Lake Township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Zhalong Lake Township was 2195. In 2019, Zhaling Lake Township has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in hajiang Chaka.

History of construction
Before December 1957, the jurisdiction of Zhaling Lake Township was under the jurisdiction of Gande county and dari County of Guoluo Autonomous Prefecture.
In June 1957, Maduo County was established. Zhalinhu township was under the jurisdiction of Maduo County and kequ.
In November 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of the Yellow River commune.
On June 25, 1959, Maduo County was put under the jurisdiction of Hainan Autonomous Prefecture, with two districts and nine communities under the jurisdiction of the areas along the Yellow River.
Zhaling Lake commune was set up in March 1962, and returned to Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in November of the same year.
In June 1984, Zhaling Lake commune was renamed Zhaling Lake Township.
