Nanshahekou Street
Nanshahekou street, subordinate to Shahekou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Shahekou District. It is adjacent to Xinghaiwan street in the East and Southeast, Heishijiao street in the south, Ganjingzi District in the west, Xinggong street and Malan street across Malan River in the north. The maximum distance from East to west is 4.1km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 2.3km, with a total area of 9.1km.
In December 1950, Dalian county was abolished, Xishan District was merged into Shahekou District, and nanshafang and taishanfang were established. In early 1953, both nanshafang and taishanfang were changed into streets. In July 1958, nanshahekou street was classified as Xinggong street. In March 1963, nanshahekou street was separated from Xinggong street and established nanshahekou Street (also known as branch). In 1978, nanshahekou commune was changed into nanshahekou street. At the end of 2011, the total population of nanshahekou sub district was 77700, including 77700 permanent urban residents, with an urbanization rate of 100%, and 2700 floating population. As of June 2020, nanshahekou street has jurisdiction over 12 communities, and its sub district office is located at No.2 fuxiangyuan, Wuyi Road, Xingfu e family community.

Historical evolution
In 1905, after the Russo Japanese War, Nansha area was occupied by Japanese aggressors. At that time, it belonged to zhangsuotai mountain area at the mouth of Shahekou in dongzhouting, the puppet pass.
In the late February of 1946, Dalian county was established with six districts. Xinmintun was changed into Taishan village. Nanshahekou and Taishan village belong to Xishan District.
In December 1950, Dalian county was abolished, Xishan District was merged into Shahekou District, and nanshafang and taishanfang were established.
In early 1951, taishanfang was merged into nanshafang.

In October 1968, nanshahekou sub district office was transformed into a sub district Revolutionary Committee.
On September 12, 1969, the Revolutionary Committee of nanshahekou commune was established, under which the revolutionary committees of Hongshan, Xingguo and Gongnong were set up.
In 1978, nanshahekou commune was changed into nanshahekou street.
From 1978 to 2003, the street community experienced many adjustments.
