Hongqiao Town
Hongqiao Town is subordinate to Pingjiang County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. It is located in Mufu mountain area at the junction of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces. It is adjacent to Daping Township, Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province in the East, mujin Township and Yongsheng Township in the south, Nanjiang town and Sandun Township in the West, and Tongcheng and Mufu Forest Park in Hubei Province in the north. It covers an area of 183.17 square kilometers (2017). With a total population of 30970 (2017), the typical mountainous terrain is composed of mountains, hills and small basins between mountains. By the end of 2006, the town's Yueyang (Xiushui) highway runs through the territory from east to West (i.e. Nanhong highway). Hong (Hongqiao) mu (papaya) highway runs through north and south, connecting Hubei through tianyueguan. The Zhongdong Hongqiao highway built in 2007 is a highway between Hongqiao and Pingjiang county. It is the straightest highway with the distance shortened by 1 / 3 and the time shortened by 1 / 2. The three highways will be fully hardened by the end of 2010. The reconstruction and hardening of rural and group highways have been fully implemented and are being gradually completed.
As of 2007, the town's electricity supply has been put into the large power grid, and most of the farmers have used electricity. The low-cost reform of rural electricity has been started, and the above policy planning is still implemented for a few households without electricity.

Tianyueguan is located at the junction of Hunan, Hubei and Jiangxi provinces, with an altitude of more than 1200 meters. It is adjacent to Hubei in the north and Hunan in the south, Huanglong Mountain in Jiangxi in the East and Mufu mountain in the west, with beautiful natural scenery. Tianyueguan, known as changshanzhai in ancient times, was built in the middle of Baotai period in the Southern Tang Dynasty and rebuilt twice later.
