Sucun township is located in the southern mountainous area of Lingbao City. The township government is located in Sucun village, 17 kilometers away from the urban area. The total land area of the township is 292 square kilometers (2018), with 4925 hectares of arable land and 3827.35 hectares of orchard. There are 32 villager committees and 317 villager groups in the township, with a total number of 28056 households (in 2018). Su Village and Township Committee of the Communist Party of China has 45 grassroots party organizations and 1005 CPC members. There are 35 authorized personnel in Township organs, and 31 at the end of the year.

Su village commune was established in 1958 and township was changed in 1983. In 1997, it covers an area of 292 square kilometers and has a population of 28000. It has jurisdiction over Sucun, WangJiaHui, Sunjiagou, yuanpo, Xicun, Dongli, yanligou, shuangzhuang, Lijiawa, ZHOUJIAYUAN, Lvjiayuan, Fanli, Gaojialing, lujialing, duanjiaao, yangpoqu, Fudi, guojialing, Xiawan, dongjiagou, Miaogou, Tianchuan, Lizigou, gaoshao, Gushui, Songyu, HUPO, Zhangjiagou and ShuiHe South, zhouyu, Liujia, weijiamo 32 administrative villages.

The township is adjacent to Duguan town and GUANDAOKOU town of Lushi County in the south, Sihe township of Lingbao City in the East, Wumu Township in the West and Yinzhuang town and Chuankou Township in the north. The cultivated land area of the township is 87000 mu. The altitude ranges from 950 to 1450 meters. There are many mountains in the South and many plains in the north and West. The landform is characterized by "seven mountains, one river and two Plains". there are two main rivers in the territory: Renjia River and Badao river. It belongs to the continental monsoon climate in the north temperate zone. The soil is fertile and the light is sufficient. It is the best suitable area for apple, tobacco, wheat, cotton and other crops. It contains gold, silver, copper, iron and other mineral resources. The reserves of barite and magnesium are considerable, and the development prospect is good.

Economic overview

Sucun township is mainly engaged in grain, fruit, tobacco and animal husbandry, and has strong industrial advantages in forestry, traditional Chinese medicine and edible fungi. In 2005, the total investment in fixed assets of the township was 54 million yuan; the total output value of industry and agriculture was 788.01 million yuan, of which the total output value of agriculture was 124.85 million yuan; the township level fiscal revenue was 5.264 million yuan, and the average annual net income of farmers was 2730 yuan.

Traffic environment

Sucun township has convenient transportation. It is adjacent to Zhenglu highway in the south, Lianhuo highway and Zhengxi high speed railway in the north, Sanxi highway, Longhai Railway and national highway 310, national highway 209, Chuanguan highway and Lingguan highway run through the north and south, and rural highways extend in all directions. The total mileage of highways in the township reaches 260 km. It is adjacent to the Grand Canyon of western Henan in the East, Longhu and Niangniang mountain in the west, Hanguguan historical and cultural tourism area in the north, and Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Yuncheng and Luoyang airports in the three hour circle. The transportation is in all directions and the location advantage is obvious. hydropower resources are unique. Eight hydropower stations, such as Yanghe, Fudi and HUPO, have been built and integrated into central China power grid, providing sufficient power supply. The reconstruction project of weijiamo reservoir is about to start, and the production and living conditions of the masses will be further improved.

agricultural economy

(1) Food production. In that year, the sown area of grain in the township was 3456 hectares with a total yield of 9.58 million kg, including 1643 hectares of summer grain with a total yield of 4.73 million kg. (2) fruit production. During the year, 138.6 hectares of trees were transformed, 230 million apples were bagged, including 110 million paper bags, and 26.6 hectares of SOD apple base were established. In terms of management services, technical service teams were set up in all villages of the township, and technical training was carried out according to different stages of fruit tree growth. A total of 56 training classes were held throughout the year, and more than 5000 fruit farmers were trained. In that year, the total fruit output of the township was 38.5 million kg, with an output value of 80 million yuan, including 35.68 million kg of apples. (3) tobacco production. In that year, the city and township level used 1.5 million yuan for tobacco pre production support, planting 675 hectares of tobacco, with an average output value of 1171 yuan per mu, a total output of 1.233 million kg and a total output value of 10.47 million yuan, creating the highest level in tobacco production history. The average household income of tobacco farmers is 7210 yuan, and the average per capita income is 1230 yuan. Among them, there are 263 households whose income of tobacco exceeds 10000 yuan. (4) animal husbandry production. Animal husbandry is one of the advantageous industries in Sucun township. In this year, 24934 breeds were improved, including 4584 cattle, 7450 sheep and 12900 pigs; 680 households were planted with artificial grass and 110 silage ponds were built; 3 specialized villages, 17 specialized farms and 80 specialized households were newly developed. In the whole year, 3210, 7613, 7546 and 57020 large livestock, pigs, sheep and poultry were sold respectively; at the end of the year, 17990, 8649, 18302 and 71558 large livestock, pigs, sheep and poultry were on hand respectively. The annual total output of meat was 1.135 million kg, and the total output of eggs was 511000 kg. (5) forestry production. In that year, 333.33 hectares of barren hills were planted, 466.67 hectares of barren hills were replanted, 180000 trees were planted on the "four sides", 20 kilometers of roads from Banli to weijiamo were afforested, and 100 hectares of fast-growing poplar were planted. (6) vegetable production. Vegetables are the emerging advantage industries in Sucun Township, among which, tomato, big persimmon pepper and other varieties enjoy a high reputation in Jiandong vegetable wholesale market of Lingbao City for their quantity, quality and pollution-free; and Sucun watermelon is exported to Nanning, Guangxi and other places. In that year, the total output of vegetables in the township was 5.18 million kg, and the total output of melons and fruits was 4.806 million kg.

Non public economy

In that year, Yunfeng alum plant was newly invested in more than 10 million yuan, and three projects with more than 1 million yuan were continued, including Tianchuan quarry, Zengxiang fruit and vegetable cold storage and Banli cement additive plant. In that year, the total output value of small and medium-sized enterprises was 569.34 million yuan (including 382.6 million yuan of industrial output value above Designated Size), and 3.63 million yuan of taxes were paid. In the whole year, 4106 surplus rural labor forces were transferred, and the labor income was 28.92 million yuan.
